We have a selection of Blockout Roller blinds and Vertical blinds, which are great for cutting out the light.
We try wherever possible to get the colour match and texture of the blind correct. However computer monitors vary and we cannot guarantee that the colour on your screen will be the same as the blind you order. We recommend ordering a free sample and that way you can see exactly what the colour will be.
All our blinds are delivered by courier. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details.
Yes. When you place your order you will be asked to advise the delivery address. This can be your own address or a different address. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.
We estimate 10-15 working days for your blinds to be delivered. Sometimes there may be unforeseen circumstances that cause a delay but we would advise you of this as soon as possible.
All blinds are made to your individual specifications and therefore, once an order is place, you cannot cancel it. Returns will only be accepted if the goods are faulty.
If you have ordered more than one blind in the same fabric or slat colour, first check that you are fitting the correct blind in the correct window. If your blind still does not fit, email us at email enquiry to discuss how we can help you.
Contact us at email enquiry or call us on 01204 382391 OR 0161 723 0233 and explain what the problem is. We will try to solve this over the phone. If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone, your blind will be covered under the 12 months guarantee. We will arrange for collection and repair it free of charge.
Whether you have modern windows or traditional period ones, the choice of Shutter styles available, means that they can be configured and fitted to replicate the design of the window. Together with various louvre widths and accessories, this window solution is almost like a piece of customised furniture and can be used to enhance small, large or awkwardly shaped windows and doors.
It is possible to have the headrail of a vertical blind curved to fit neatly into a bow or shallow bay window. This is a clever process which allows you to have just one blind that operates round the whole window. A perfect way to control the light.
Bathrooms tend to become steamy. It is therefore best to choose a blind that can cope with these conditions. Aluminium Venetians are ideal as is a blackout roller blind. We also now have a range of Fauxwood Venetian Blinds that are also suitable in moist conditions. We would however, recommend ordering a free sample before choosing.
This is easily rectified: pull the control chain until the slats are in the closed position, then gently force the chain and the carriages will realign themselves. Don’t worry if you hear a noise from the headrail – this is perfectly normal. The components in the headrail are self-aligning and therefore can complete the operation.
First of all decide if you are co-ordinating patterns or colours? If it is the pattern that is the hero, then choose similar designs in different scales or pick out a single element in the curtain fabric and replicate it with the blind. If you choose to co-ordinate a colour palette, then choose a dominant colour from the curtain pattern and bring it through in the blind.
Remember that wood is a natural, breathing material that absorbs moisture depending upon its environment. So, if the blind is situated in a humid room, the wood will still continue to move and breathe and may not retain its regular appearance. If in doubt, we recommend trying a Fauxwood Venetian blind, which is just as beautiful.
It’s a trick of the eye but, if there is enough wall space either side of the window, then add an extra 35-45cm to the length of the curtain pole. This way the Curtains sit wider than the window when pulled back, giving a bigger view of the outside.
We can sometimes make Vertical or Venetian blinds with alternative slat colours. Just contact us at email enquiry or call us on 0161 725 9627 and we would be happy to discuss this with you.

We suggest finding a colour that best matches your requirements and order a sample to check if this is the correct colour.
All our blinds are made from the same stock so your sample will match your chosen blind. Please remember that wood blinds are a natural product so there may be a slight variation in the colour.
When you place an order for a made-to-measure blind, you will be asked if the measurements are exact or recess. An exact blind will be made to precisely the measurement you have sent us. A recess measurement is required for a blind you would like to fit into the recess of your window. Measure the recess from wall to wall, give us these measurements. We will make all the necessary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. This usually means we will deduct 1cm from the width of your blind. With roller blinds we also have to make allowances for the fittings at either end of the blind as there is no headrail. This means we have to deduct 30mm of the fabric for an exact measurement and 35mm for a recess measurement. Please see our rolleror vertical blinds pages for video instructions.
The colour co-ordinated braid is a decorative trim that is put on the bottom of the blind to complete the look. This looks particularly good on the bottom of the turret and scalloped bottom of the blinds.
Valley-blinds wood Venetians are made from basswood that is grown in sustained and managed forests. This is perfect for Venetian blinds because of its strength and flexibility. The wood is kiln dried, which stabilises it, cut into slats and then stained to a specific colour. Because of the nature of the wood, you may experience slight warping of the vanes.
Door blinds can be made-to-measure to suit a door in either Perfect Fit, Roller blinds, Aluminium venetian blinds or Pleated blinds. These types of window blinds will allow you to mount the blind directly onto a door. Just contact us on 0161 725 9627 and we will be happy to discuss your options.
